"Face2Faith aims to empower and encourage students to look beyond what is familiar and challenge them to explore different perspectives from peers around the world. This is part of a global initiative connecting young people around the world in meaningful dialogue about the impact of faith on their lives. Student are part of something large. It also aims in improving cultural literacy among young people, which is a vital skill in an increasingly complex global society. Using video conferencing and web-based tools, students investigate big global issues, discuss range of opinions, values and beliefs and explore the reasons for similar and different perspectives."
The students then moved on to decorating the walls of Winchester with messages of Peace, and spreading awareness regarding the importance of Peace and how we can all make a difference of we try. A wide range of display was put across the walls of the school which portrayed every aspect of Peace.
Furthermore, students were encouraged to greet each other with the peace sign, and spread positive messages around the school with the help of ICT and other methods, including posters, banners, etc. The whole of school also participated by forming a spectacular concentric circle of human chain composing of not only the secondary students, but also the primary students as well as the staff.
Last but not the least, the students of the Winchester School also organized a very interesting and intriguing event that brought together a crowd of people from all over the world to work towards one goal; Peace. It was a MP3 experiment, and it was the first time ever a MP3 experiment was held in Dubai. It was not only for the students of Winchester, but was for all the students from all the schools in Dubai, and was a rather successful event.
The main idea behind this event was to bring together a crowd people to work together, despite being strangers, in order to spread the message of Peace. The participants were asked to download a MP3 file, which had a set of recorded instructions, which were to be followed by the participants during the event.

Overall, the Peace Day celebrations held at the Winchester School were a great success, and was effective as it had a very positive impact on all our students. Despite being from different nationalities with different cultural backgrounds, every member of the Winchester family came together as one to achieve one goal and that was to spread awareness regarding the importance of peace.
As a Japanese poet once quoted "Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean." And Winchester has proved these wise words true by working together as one and creating the ocean of peace in Dubai, which with time will only grow bigger, because in Winchester, we believe in celebrating peace every day, and making peace a part of our community.
Peace.
Peace.
Not only that, but the Winchester School's entry video for the 'Which School Advisor's happiest school in UAE, had been praised as a finalist amongst the many other schools around the UAE, and has been selected as the 5th happiest school in UAE.
